Unauthenticated database query manipulation via cid parameter
Published Oct 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Blind SQL injection in OpenSNS 6.1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through the ChinaCity add-on's cid parameter. The getdistrict action passes crafted cid array content from a POST request into a database operation, where an injected SLEEP expression creates a response-delay oracle. No authentication cookie is required, and the demonstrated consequence is indirect disclosure of query truth through timing differences; broader database access is not publicly demonstrated.
