CVE-2020-21590Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated directory listing via incomplete traversal filtering

Published Apr 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Path traversal in WUZHI CMS 4.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to list files in arbitrary directories via the dir parameter. The template administration constructor removes traversal tokens only once, so overlapping sequences collapse into ../ before listing() passes the path to glob(). An authenticated administrative request is required, and exploitation exposes file and directory names outside the template root without changing them.
