Remote code execution via unrestricted ZIP upload
Published Apr 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in emlog 6.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute server-side code through a crafted ZIP plugin. The ZIP plugin module accepts and extracts an archive containing a webshell without rejecting executable server-side file types. NVD reports no required privileges or user interaction; successful placement lets the webshell run with the web server's privileges.
