Credential disclosure via plaintext job configuration forms
Published Mar 9, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Credential disclosure in Jenkins DeployHub Plugin 8.0.14 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read configured credentials. Job configuration forms return configured credential values in plaintext even though the job config.xml files store them encrypted on disk. Extended Read permission is required, and exposure is limited to credentials returned in those forms.
