Script execution via unescaped repository URL error
Published Mar 9, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Jenkins Subversion Release Manager Plugin 1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via a repository URL. Repository URL form validation inserts an unescaped error message containing attacker-controlled input into the returned page. Exploitation requires a victim to load that response; Job/Configure users can persist the trigger and run script within the victim's browser access.
