Cleartext transmission in Jenkins Quality Gates Plugin 2.5 and earlier allows attackers to read credentials via its global configuration form. The plugin serializes encrypted-at-rest credentials into the configuration form as plaintext instead of retaining a masked secret value. Exposure requires a browser extension, cross-site scripting flaw, or similar context that can inspect the rendered form; controller files alone retain encrypted values.
