Credential disclosure via plaintext configuration storage
Published Mar 9, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Insufficient credential protection in Zephyr Enterprise Test Management Plugin 1.9.1 and earlier allows local users to read a Zephyr password. The plugin writes the password without encryption to the Jenkins controller's global com.thed.zephyr.jenkins.reporter.ZeeReporter.xml configuration file. Access to the controller filesystem is required, and exposure is limited to the stored Zephyr credential.
