Service password disclosure via plaintext job configuration

Credential exposure in Jenkins Project ECX Copy Data Management Plugin 1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read a service password. The plugin writes the ECX service password into each affected job's config.xml file without encryption. Reading it remotely requires Extended Read permission; local users need access to the Jenkins controller file system.
