Session-cookie theft via stored comment markup
Published Jun 20, 2023 · Updated Dec 9, 2024
Stored XSS in Product Overview comments in EasySoft ZenTao 11.6.4 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser. The comment-editing request stores lastComment without neutralizing injected img or div event-handler markup, which executes when the saved comment is rendered. Exploitation requires another user to view or interact with the crafted comment, exposing that user's session cookies and permitting actions in that browser context.
