GPG passphrase disclosure via plaintext configuration storage
Published Feb 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Plaintext credential storage in Jenkins Project Debian Package Builder Plugin 1.6.11 and earlier allows local users to read a GPG passphrase. The plugin writes the passphrase without encryption to ru.yandex.jenkins.plugins.debuilder.DebianPackageBuilder.xml on the Jenkins controller. A configured GPG passphrase and controller filesystem access are required; disclosure exposes the stored signing credential.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
