Database query manipulation via unquoted record identifier
Published Sep 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Time-based SQL injection in Pligg CMS 2.0.2 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries via the recordIDValue parameter. The admin_update_module_widgets.php handler inserts recordIDValue into an SQL statement without quoting or safely processing the value. The timing signal requires installed modules and populated tables, and the published evidence demonstrates query manipulation rather than broader system compromise.
