CVE-2020-2105Network attack vector

REST API content disclosure via clickjacking

Published Jan 29, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Clickjacking in Jenkins REST API endpoints in 2.218 and earlier and LTS 2.204.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose API content. REST API responses omit the X-Frame-Options deny header, allowing a crafted page to embed an endpoint in an iframe. Exploitation requires a victim to visit the page and perform the disguised action; the reported consequence is disclosure of that endpoint's content.
