Administrator SQL injection via unescaped comment IP
Published Oct 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in emlog 6.0.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to read, modify, or delete database data. The delCommentByIp function places the ip query parameter directly inside SELECT and DELETE statements without escaping or parameterization. A valid administrator session and request token are required; crafted values support error-based or time-based extraction, while ordinary tests can delete comments.
