Authenticated script execution via unneutralized date-range input
Published Aug 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in DomainMOD 4.13 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary web scripts through the cost-by-owner page. The /domains/cost-by-owner.php endpoint fails to neutralize crafted input in the "or Expiring Between" parameter before generating the response. A low-privilege session and victim interaction are required, limiting the consequence to script-driven data access or actions in the victim's browser.
