Controller secret disclosure via external entity resolution
Published Jan 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
XXE in Jenkins Robot Framework Plugin 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read controller secrets through crafted XML. RobotParser creates an XMLInputFactory for Publish Robot Framework result files without disabling external-entity resolution. Job/Configure access and control of a post-build input file are required; entity expansion can read secrets, make server-side requests, or interrupt service.
