Script execution via unescaped admin name field
Published Jun 20, 2023 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
Cross-site scripting in taogogo taoCMS 2.5 beta5.1 allows remote attackers to run script via the admin.php name field. The admin.php iframe-management view renders the attacker-controlled field as active page content without neutralizing script syntax. Exploitation requires a user to view the crafted output, after which the script runs in the taoCMS browser origin and can read or alter application data available to that session.
