Sensitive file disclosure via unfiltered cURL destination
Published Jul 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Server-side request forgery in MipCMS 5.0.1 allows remote attackers to read sensitive server files through an administrative API endpoint. ApiAdminDomainSettings.php accepts the postAddress value as a cURL destination, trims it without filtering, executes the request, and returns the result as JSON. No authentication or user interaction is required, and a file URL can expose locally readable files such as /etc/passwd.
