Database information disclosure via unfiltered log date
Published Jun 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in White Shark System 1.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data through log_edit.php. The endpoint places the date-derived $logdate value into a database query without passing it through GetSQLValueString, allowing crafted SQL to execute. Any Guest, Ordinary User, Project Manager, or Administrator session can reach the endpoint; the demonstrated consequence is database-version disclosure.
