Unauthenticated code execution via checktitle SQL injection
Published Jun 20, 2023 · Updated Dec 10, 2024
SQL injection in WUZHICMS 4.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the checktitle() function. In /coreframe/app/content/admin/content.php, checktitle() places the controllable title value into an SQL construction after remove_xss() strips double quotes but leaves SQL syntax effective. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published time-delay payload demonstrates extraction of the database account name.
