Authenticated browser script execution via stored content
Published Jul 8, 2021 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored XSS in PbootCMS 2.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a visitor's browser through admin.php. The admin.php content-modification route stores attacker-supplied content and later renders it on the public site without neutralizing script markup. Administrative access is required to plant the payload, and execution occurs when another user visits the affected rendered content.
