Script execution via reflected surveyId input
Published Jun 20, 2023 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
Reflected XSS in DWSurvey 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted survey-result URL. The qu-multi-fillblank!answers.action result handler returns the surveyId query value without effective XSS filtering, allowing injected markup to reach browser parsing. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted result URL; script runs in that user's DWSurvey origin and can access browser-visible data such as cookies.
