Session hijacking via Clientless VPN cross-site scripting

Cross-site scripting in affected PAN-OS GlobalProtect Clientless VPN releases allows remote attackers to compromise active user sessions. The Clientless VPN HTML rewriting path processes content from an attacker-controlled website, but Palo Alto Networks has not disclosed the exact input or missing neutralization operation. Exposure requires Clientless VPN configuration and an authenticated user visiting a malicious website through it; resulting script execution compromises that user's session.
