Privilege escalation via attacker-controlled XSLT file write

External path and data control in PAN-OS Panorama allows remote attackers to write files and elevate privileges through its management interface. Panorama's XSLT processing logic accepts an attacker-controlled path and data and writes the supplied file to the system. Network access to the management web interface is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation yields elevated privileges.
