Authorization bypass via shared local usernames

Improper authorization in PAN-OS allows remote authenticated users to access resources beyond their assigned SAML permissions. During SSO authorization, PAN-OS resolves a shared SAML username against a local Linux account and applies the local account's permissions instead of the SAML account's assigned permissions. A valid SAML-authenticated account whose username duplicates a local Linux username is required, and resulting access is limited to resources permitted to that local account.
