Database read and modification via unsanitized ad_id
Published Sep 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in ad_js.php in BlueCMS 1.6 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the ad_id query parameter. The endpoint trims the query-string value but concatenates it directly into an SQL statement that the database executes. No authentication or user interaction is required, and crafted UNION queries can disclose database contents.
