Unauthenticated code execution via upload type parameter
Published Apr 11, 2023 · Updated Feb 11, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Milken DoyoCMS 2.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the file type parameter. The upload handler trusts the attacker-controlled type parameter instead of enforcing a safe server-side file-type restriction. No authentication or user interaction is required; a successful upload permits code execution with the web server's privileges.
