JavaScript execution via reflected message1 parameter

Reflected XSS in Automated Logic WebCTRL System 6.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted GET request. The failuremessage.jsp endpoint reflects an encoded payload from the message1 query parameter into its response without neutralizing executable script. Exploitation requires a user to follow the crafted request, after which the script runs in the user's browser with the WebCTRL page's origin privileges.
