Code execution or crash via simplifier use-after-free

Use-after-free in the PDD simplifier in Microsoft Z3 before 4.8.8 allows attackers to crash the process or execute code via crafted constraints. During nonlinear-arithmetic solving, simplify_linear_step appends equations to a vector while retaining an element reference; vector reallocation frees the referenced storage, and the function later reads it. Triggering the flaw requires a user or application to submit and solve a crafted SMT-LIB constraint set, with code execution limited to the Z3 process context.
