Heap buffer overflow in the edit-list atom parser in Bento4 1.5.1-628 allows attackers to crash mp42aac with a crafted MP4 file. AP4_ElstAtom reserves one 20-byte AP4_ElstEntry, then AP4_Array::Append writes another entry past that allocation while parsing the file. The file must be opened by mp42aac; the demonstrated consequence is process termination, with no reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
