Authentication bypass in Apache Shiro before 1.5.2 allows remote attackers to access protected Spring dynamic-controller routes. WebUtils.getRequestUri() used the container's raw request URI for filter-chain matching while Spring resolved servletPath and pathInfo, allowing crafted traversal forms to reach a protected route after Shiro's check. Exposure requires an affected Shiro web application using Spring dynamic controllers; successful requests bypass configured access controls.
