Script execution via reflected XML API-key payload
Published Sep 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in ManageEngine OpManager 12.5.176 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script through a crafted API key. The affected response places an XML-based payload supplied as the API key into a generated web page without neutralizing executable content. Execution requires a user to open the crafted response in a browser, allowing attacker-controlled script to act in that page's security context.
