Stored script execution via crafted file upload
Published Sep 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in WUZHI CMS 4.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript when a victim visits an uploaded file. The config function in coreframe/app/attachment/libs/class/ckditor.class.php accepts a crafted upload without preventing embedded script execution. An authenticated upload and a victim visit are required; the script can read or alter data accessible to the victim's browser session.
