Browser script execution via reflected view parameter
Published Jan 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Vtiger CRM 7.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted view parameter. The index.php request handler reflects the view value into an HTML response without neutralizing executable markup. A user must open a crafted link or third-party page; the script then runs in the Vtiger origin and can read or alter data available to that browser session.
