CVE-2020-19320Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unchecked curTime copy

Published Sep 11, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in the login handler of D-Link DIR-619L 2.06beta allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The formLogin redirect path passes the curTime request value to sprintf, which copies it into a stack buffer without checking its length. An attacker must reach the router's LAN-side web interface and authenticate; an oversized value can overwrite the return address.
