Sensitive file disclosure via directory traversal
Published Aug 3, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in Metinfo 7.0.0 allows remote attackers to read sensitive files via the /admin/index.php file-list endpoint. The doGetFileList action accepts attacker-controlled path data without adequately restricting traversal to the intended directory, allowing access to files outside the web application's directory. The CVSS records require no authentication or user interaction and limit the reported impact to confidentiality; integrity and availability impacts are not reported.
