CVE-2020-1928Network attack vector

Sensitive property disclosure via debug logging

Published Jan 28, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Information disclosure in Apache NiFi 1.10.0 allows attackers with application-log access to read sensitive property values from debug output. The expression-language-aware and expression-language-agnostic parameter parsers log their complete input when parsing parameter references. Exposure requires debug logging, a sensitive literal with no parameter reference, and access to the resulting application log.
