Database disclosure via unvalidated group deletion parameter
Published May 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Piwigo 2.9.5 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary database data through the group deletion action. The delete branch in admin/group_list.php inserts the unvalidated group parameter into a database query and renders the result. Administrator access to the administration panel is required; successful exploitation exposes database contents, including password hashes, without modifying data.
