Authenticated file disclosure or service interruption via traversal
Published Sep 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in Jfinal CMS 4.7.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read files or interrupt service via FileManager.delete(). FileManagerController.java invokes the deletion operation without confining the requested filesystem target to an authorized directory. A valid low-privilege account is required; successful exploitation reads files or deletes resources needed to keep the service running.
