Unauthenticated administrative access via conjunctive credential check
Published May 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in Online Book Store 1.0 allows remote attackers to access the administrative interface with an arbitrary password. admin_verify.php rejects credentials only when both the submitted name and password differ from the stored row, so a correct administrator name makes any password succeed. No prior authentication is required; successful requests create an administrative session that exposes protected information.
