Reflected XSS via Host header injection
Published Dec 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Zimbra Collaboration 8.8.12 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary script or HTML via a crafted Host header. The zimbraAdmin/public/secureRequest.jsp page reflects the attacker-controlled header into its HTML response without safe output encoding. Exploitation requires a victim to render the crafted response; the script then executes in the Zimbra origin and can access browser-visible data.
