Unauthenticated code execution via dangerous file upload
Published Aug 29, 2023 · Updated Oct 2, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Earcms Ear App 20181124 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through uload/index-uplog.php. The upload handler accepts a dangerous file type that the web environment processes as executable code. No authentication or user interaction is required, so a network-reachable deployment exposes the privileges of the web application process.
