Published Aug 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Bludit 3.8.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the logo upload endpoint. The bl-kereln/ajax/upload-logo.php handler accepts PHP files without restricting their type and stores them in the web-accessible bl-content/uploads directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and requesting the uploaded PHP file executes it under the web server account.
