CVE-2020-1883Network attack vector

Service disruption via repeated memory exhaustion

Published Jun 5, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Memory leak in affected Huawei NIP6800, Secospace USG6600, and USG9500 releases allows remote authenticated users to disrupt service. Huawei has not disclosed the affected component or the specific operation that fails to release memory. Network access and high privileges are required, and continuously repeating the operation consumes memory until service becomes abnormal.
