Service crash via unchecked IPTC marker scan

Out-of-bounds write in Exiv2 0.27.99.0 allows attackers to crash Exiv2 during IPTC metadata parsing via a crafted TIFF file. In IptcParser::decode in src/iptc.cpp, the IPTC marker scan increments and dereferences its input pointer without first confirming that another byte remains. Exploitation requires an application or user to make Exiv2 process the file; the demonstrated result is a SIGSEGV and service interruption, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
