Out-of-bounds read in Exiv2 0.27.99.0 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted Nikon metadata file. Nikon1MakerNote::print0x0088 uses an unvalidated metadata value as an index into the nikonFocusArea string array, reading beyond its bounds. The file must be processed to print metadata; the read exposes adjacent process memory, while the demonstrated AddressSanitizer build aborts.
