Administrator account takeover via forged state-changing requests
Published Jun 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in JuQingCMS 1.0 allows remote attackers to add or modify administrator accounts through an authenticated browser. The administrator add and edit actions accept state-changing requests without anti-CSRF validation, while credential changes do not require the current password. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled content in a browser with Flash support, causing submission under the active session.
