Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered message content
Published Aug 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Hucart CMS 5.7.4 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries through a purchase-enquiry message. The /user/index.php?load=comment&act=add_buy handler fails to securely filter the con_content POST field before using it in SQL, so an injected quote-and-SELECT expression changes the query. A valid Hucart session is required; the demonstrated payload establishes query manipulation, while public evidence does not establish broader database or host compromise.
