Authenticated script execution via unsanitized Heading
Published Aug 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in qdPM 9.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in the Login Page Heading via a crafted website name. The configuration endpoint stores the submitted website name without proper output encoding, so the value is rendered as executable markup when the login page is viewed. Exploitation requires authenticated access and a victim viewing the affected page; the resulting script can read or alter data available to that victim's session.
