Stored script execution via unfiltered guestbook data
Published Aug 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in UKCMS 1.1.10 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser through guestbook data. The index function in application/home/controller/Single.php renders submitted message-board data without filtering it before an administrator reviews the guestbook. Exploitation requires stored content to be viewed by an administrator, enabling script-controlled access to data and actions available within that browser session.
