Browser script execution via unfiltered upurl URL
Published Aug 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in YUNUCMS 1.1.9 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser through a crafted category URL. The upurl function in app/extend/com/Page.php reflects an unfiltered URL value into generated page output, allowing a query-string payload to become executable markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL in a Flash-capable browser and permits browser-context data access or modification within the site's origin.
